  1. Thanks to Gabriela Hearst I found my all-time favorite tote and trust me, there's a lot of competition. The Chloe Mony Tote ticks off all the boxes: perfect colors, two handles for easy access, holds my laptop & iPad when I travel and has an inside pocket for keys and my ever-present lip gloss. The whipstitching detail is the perfection… a little cowboy, a little rock-n-roll. Flawless.

  2. I'm lazy when it comes to applying make-up (also changing bags & jewelry), but Westman Atelier, created by the one and only, Gucci Westman, is stellar. Not only does she make the process super easy, but just holding the sleek, sophisticated products elevates the experience. And, it's all clean beauty with no parabens, sulfates, or other poisonous ingredients. Win, win.

  3. During the holiday season, I always think of those who have lost someone important in their lives. Whether it was last week or many years ago, that gaping hole will feel deeper during the holidays. It just does.

One of my best friend's recommended Anderson Cooper's new podcast, "ALL THERE IS" on loss and grief, which was already on my list, but her endorsement catapulted it to the top. It's exceptional; raw, real and heartwarming all at once. Listening to it is like being wrapped in a virtual grieving blanket, the warmth is palpable and there are moments of laughter along the way.

One often feels alone in their pain, this makes it emphatically clear we are not.

  4. I must be honest; I've been struggling with my blog. I love to write, I also love to share secret sources, travel tips and obsessions.

So, I decided to pivot and re-introduce this blog to be content driven. Sure, sometimes it will be about furniture, lord knows I'm obsessed with it, but also fashion, food, places and spaces. And, anything else I endorse and think you'll love.

So, stay tuned, I've got a lot to say.

  5. What in the world happened to all our patience? I don't want to date myself, but I remember busy signals. Yes, the repetitive sound that bellowed in one's ear when calling someone already on the line. You had to wait, and then call back, and often, wait longer. And, yes, the phone was attached to the wall.

These days, it's all about GETTING IT NOW, SAYING IT NOW, DOING IT NOW. NOW, NOW, NOW.

Which brings me to our Quick Ship program. Choose a frame, including sofas, beds, chairs and more, select one of 12 fabrics and no, you won't get it now, but it will ship in 3 weeks. Pretty good, right?

  6. So, as you know Greece was the word this summer. And, I'm sure you also know, it's the summer of lost bags. Two of our friend's bags were lost and one has yet to be found. 6 weeks later.

All the above has led me back to exclusively carry-on, which years ago was my standard move. I've also purchased Apple Air Tags and better luggage ID tags.

So, I started thinking about paring down and what can fit where, both in my closet and in design. Which brought me to small bedside tables, of which we have many. Embracing the movement towards less, our little 18" wide beauties nail both form and function. Whether you want a smaller piece due to scale of the room, or you just don't need as much storage, these hit the mark.

    Here's what's new
