Return Policy

Shipping Claims: Please visually inspect every shipment that you receive. Visible damage or shortages must be noted on the carrier’s delivery paperwork at the time of receipt. If the paperwork says 5 cartons and there are 4 note that you have only received only 4 before you sign. This allows us to pursue the claim with the carrier. If you sign for a short shipment you must unfortunately incur the loss.

Other Claims: Concealed damage must be reported within 30 days. We will not accept a claim after this period. All returns must be authorized in advance by our customer service department. All claims must be submitted in writing by fax to: (203) 445-7617 or email to customerservice@interludehome.com. After receipt of your claim a return authorization will be send to you. Please keep all packing materials for damaged items, as these will be necessary to pack the item for return. Any item returned to Interlude Home without a return authorization is subject to a 25% restocking.

First Quality: We do exhaustive quality control at Interlude Home in order to ship the best possible home products. We also employ a great deal of hand work and hand finishes creating a one of a kind look. This will produce variation in tone and color from time to time. We allow and expect this in our products. We reserve the right to determine first quality in all of our products. In the event a claim for finish or color variation is submitted our quality control team will determine if the style is first quality. This will determine if the claim will be processed.

Shipping Policy

FOB: All shipping is FOB Trumbull, CT unless otherwise noted.

Domestic Shipping: All orders will be shipped prepaid and freight charges will be added to the product invoice. All special carrier requests must be submitted with the original order. We will try to honor special requests, however we reserve the right to select carriers with the best service record.

Refused shipments: The customer is responsible for all freight charges on reconsigned or refused shipments. A 25% restocking charge applies to all first quality goods that are returned to Interlude Home.

White Glove Shipping Policy:Our white glove carrier will call in advance to schedule a delivery. It is your responsibility to be available to receive the merchandise at the agreed upon time and address. Our white glove carrier will not deliver to an active construction site. If you accept the delivery without unpacking and inspecting the styles you do so at your own risk. Any damage discovered after delivery will be the responsibility of the receiving party.

Claims for damage to products that do not arise from defects in material or workmanship are the responsibility of the delivery company. Carefully inspect all styles upon delivery, while the delivery personnel are present. If any items have been damaged in shipment refuse them and instruct the delivery personnel to repack and return to the terminal. Notify Interlude Home that an item or items have been refused. Please note the style number and description email the information to customerservice@interludehome.com. A customer service representative will be in contact to advise replacement method and timing.
